Missing Madalina: Age progression photo by National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.

April 11. Cornelius Police have released an age progression photo of Madalina Cojocari today, on her 14th birthday.

She was 11 years old at the time of her disappearance in November 2022, and remains missing.

The photo was created by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. Police are hoping it will spark new leads and encourage the community to keep her in their thoughts and remain vigilant.

“We are committed to finding Madalina and will not stop until this case is solved. Madalina is a member of our community and is not forgotten,” said David Baucom, Chief of the Cornelius Police Department.

Missing Madalina: Last independent sighting Nov. 21, 2022 on CMS bus

The Bailey Middle schooler was last seen getting off her school bus on November 21, 2022. She is described as having dark hair, dark eyes, and an olive complexion. The case remains under investigation, and law enforcement continues to ask for the public’s assistance.

A $25,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person or persons responsible remains unclaimed.
