Jan. 31. After three years in Cornelius, The Waterman seafood restaurant will close this weekend. The existing South Charlotte location will remain open and a new location is coming to Terminal C at Charlotte Douglas International Airport, according to High Tide Hospitality.
No word on what will go into the 4,100-square foot space. Goat Pizza is in the same mixed-use complex at the corner of Bailey Road and Statesville Road.
Well good for them, the tourists in the airport will not mind paying too much for mediocre seafood.
