Pumpkin Picking

Jazzin’ with The Seniors

Chronicles of Yarnia Discussion Group

Davidson College Symphony Orchestra: Play Ball!

7:30 pm | Sept. 26. The DCSO is up at bat with music from the Olympics, Field of Dreams, Chariots of Fire and other popular favorites from sporting events. We’ll knock it out of the park with P.D.Q. Fall is in the Air: Demos at Donoghue’s series

6:30 pm | Sept. 26. Chef Brendan Krebs, FeedNC culinary director and chef, will present an intimate, interactive culinary demonstration during each course. Davidson Community Players: ‘The Humans’

In The Humans, Stephen Karam documents the distinctly present-day Blake clan as a symbol of the disappearing middle class, with millennial children facing struggles their parents never faced while the parents also witness their promised safety vanish before them. Bound by love but consumed by a gnawing sense of dread, the Blakes meet for Thanksgiving dinner in New York City at one of their greatest moments of crisis. Recommended ages 15 and up. 19th Annual Run For Green

7:30 am | Sept. 28. Davidson Lands Conservancy presents a 5K, 10K and half marathon celebrating the gorgeous Davidson community and the work that DLC does to protect local open spaces, tree canopy, animal habitats and trails and greenways.  If you are not a runner, but would like to help support these runners and DLC, please sign-up to volunteer, sign up here. 119 South Main St., The Town Green, Davidson.

‘Tawba Walk Arts & Music Festival

2-8 pm | Sept. 28. Free, family-friendly festival will showcase the best local artists, musicians, food trucks and breweries.  Oak Street Mill, 19725 Oak St.

Safety Saturday

10 am – noon | Sept. 28. Get a close up look at special safety vehicles and learn about ways to keep your community safer. Euchre Tournament

Check in at 12:30, play starts at 1 pm | Sept. 29. Grab your favorite partner and for a $30 entry fee, you can stake your claim to be Euchre Champion of Lost Worlds.
