Aug. 22. Davidson Community Players’ Connie Company is seeking energetic and imaginative youth for a November production of “Roald Dahl’s Matilda Jr: the Musical.”

Who:

Youth actors between 10 and 18 are encouraged to audition.

When:

—Wednesday Sept 4, 5:30 pm-7:30 pm

—Saturday Sept. 7, 10 am-noon

Cain Center for the Arts

Details:

Come prepared with the sheet music of about 32 bars of a musical theatre song of your choice (not from Matilda). An accompanist will be there to play your song. Or you may bring a backing track (speaker available). No a cappella.

There will be a dance portion, so come dressed to move.

Bring:

Bring a resume, recent headshot and list of conflicts from September 14th through November 16th.

Pre-registration is required for auditions.

Rehearsals will begin on Sept. 14 with performances running Nov. 14-16.
