July 29. Mecklenburg veterans and their families will have an opportunity to ask questions—and get answers—about their benefits, plus learn about other services during a special three-day, one-stop open house in August.
Veterans Benefits Live: VA in My Town: Mecklenburg County will help veterans and their families or caregivers navigate the services available to them. Representatives from the US Department of Veterans Affairs and other partners will help attendees one-on-one with their benefits, claims, appeals and other concerns.

Veterans and their dependents should bring their DD214, medical and service records, and dependency documents. Registration for the free event is requested, but not required.
