Popsicle Party

10 am – noon | July 9. Leisure games and activities, as well as free popsicles for attendees. Free event. Registration not required. Liberty Park, 225 E. Iredell Ave., Mooresville.

Wednesday, July 10

Summertime Storytime

1:30 pm | July 10. Hosted by the Town of Davidson Police Department, the Davidson Public Library and Main Street Books. Bring your kids of all ages and a blanket, chair and snacks to the Town Green and the steps of the Davidson Public Library, 119 Main St.

Thursday, July 11

LangTree Live

6:30-9 pm | July 11. Untethered Duo (Nick Prestia Band). Classics and originals arrange in a funny soulful style. LangTree Lake Norman, 401 Langtree Rd., Mooresville 28117.

Friday, July 12

Second Friday Street Festival 

6-10 pm | July 12. Live concert, food trucks, craft brews, artisans and vendors, kids zone, games. Oak Street Mill, Cornelius.

Sundown Sounds

7-9 pm | July 12. Enjoy live music from Gary Lowder.   Food, beer, and wine will be available for purchase. No outside alcohol is allowed. Please bring your own lawn chair or blanket. Ramsey Creek Park.

Live Under The Oaks

6-8 pm | July 12. Nick Prestia Duo performs. No coolers are allowed on property. A bar will be onsite in the designated area provided by Red Rocks for beverage needs. Bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit on. Seating space may be limited. The Plaza, Birkdale Village, Huntersville.

Rock the Park

6 pm food trucks; 6:30 pm show | July 12. Envision. The amphitheater has open lawn seating. Bring a chair, blanket and rock the park. Free. Liberty Park, 255 E. Iredell Ave., Downtown Mooresville.

Fun Fridays: Make Your Own Sandwich

Pumpkin Center Rodeo

Saturday, July 13 

Intro to Flat Water Kayaking

9:30-11 am; arrive no later than 9:15 am so that class can start on time | July 13. This class is designed for paddlers who have little to no experience kayaking on calm water. Participants will spend 20-30 minutes in the classroom with the rest of the time on the water. All sessions will be lead with experienced and qualified instructors. Must register. Cost per person: $30 for residents, $36 others. Lake Norman Community Sailing Center, 15901 NC-73, located within Blythe Landing Park, Cornelius.

Lights, Camera, Birkdale

7:30 pm | July 13. “Elf.” Seating is first come, first serve. Attendees are encouraged to bring additional blankets & chairs. No outside food or beverage is permitted, but takeout from our onsite restaurants is encouraged. The Plaza, Birkdale Village, Huntersville.

Hollywood Nights — America’s Bob Seger Experience
