Dec. 5. The Save A Life Group has raised $38,500 for LifeShare Of The Carolinas thanks to the second annual Golf Classic at Trump National. These funds will be used by LifeShare to help increase awareness about organ donation.

“We need everyone to say ‘yes’ to organ donation at the Division of Motor Vehicles, or register online, so more patients on the waiting list can be saved,” explains Gary Simmons, a liver recipient and founder of SALG.

The Davidson resident has helped raised $67,500 in two years for organ donation awareness. Next year’s Golf Classic will be Oct. 10 at Trump National Charlotte. More info: www.SaveALifeGroup.org.
