May 30. The Town of Davidson has contracted with Blue Strike Environmental to develop a Climate Action Plan.

The plan work began April 18 and is anticipated to be completed by October 2023.

Setting a goal of carbon neutrality by 2037, the Town of Davidson has been working on sustainability efforts and initiative for the last two years.

Sustainability has become a town priority and as such is part of the town’s Strategic Plan.

The Climate Action Plan will include a set of greenhouse gas mitigation goals, policies, and objectives that will help the town meet its 2037 goal.

The Climate Action Plan will include opportunities for public input in June and July. Public feedback will be welcomed through surveys as well as public meetings.
