May  5. The Hello Huntersville – the annual arts and cultural event – will be noon to 6 pm Sunday, May 7,  at Veterans Park.

The event will be filled with local food trucks, breweries, craft vendors, splatter art, ice sculpture showdown, whimsical

characters, and more.

Event admission, parking and activities are free to the public.

Road closings, parking

Maxwell Avenue between Huntersville-Concord Road and Old Statesville Road (NC 115) and Main Street between Huntersville-Concord Road and Bigham Street will be closed 8 am – 7:30 pm  Sunday for the event.

Parking is available at the Town Center Parking Deck, South Main Street parking lot, Arts & Cultural Center, Holbrook Park and Downtown Greenway parking lot.
