Davidson College Symphony Orchestra: Tchaikovsky Symphony No. 4
7:30 PM – 9 pm | April 20. In this season finale concert, the DCSO performs Tchaikovsky’s monumental and virtuosic Symphony No. 4 and Beethoven’s jubilant homage to Baroque masters, The Consecration of the House Overture. This free class is designed for senior adults to improve flexibility, breath, balance, mobility, and fluidity by exploring various elements of ballet, jazz, modern, and improvisation. Earth Day Shred Event
10 am – noon | April 22. Bring old documents, confidential files and no longer-needed important paperwork to be shred. Paper, folders, hanging folders, paper clips, elastics, staples and metal clips can all be shredded. Items such as batteries, 3 ring binders, cardboard and any other non-recyclable items are not allowed. Music at St. Alban’s: North Carolina Baroque Orchestra
3-4 pm | April 23. A well-known ensemble performing “Captivating Concertos for Strings and Winds;” the group includes M@SA’s artistic director, Barbara Krumdieck, on baroque cello. Tickets $15-$20. St. Alban’s Episcopal Church, 301 Caldwell Ln., Davidson.
