Tastes of Habitat, a fundraising event for Our Towns Habitat Women Build program, will feature specially prepared hors d’oeuvres, mini entrees and desserts from local chefs. The event will be held at the Charles Mack Citizens Center in Mooresville 6-9 pm Nov. 5. Tickets, at $50 each or $300 for a table of eight, are available for purchase at www.ourtownshabitat.org. There will be an auction and, of course, a fun atmosphere. Restaurants and bake shops include Sangam, Whole Foods Market Lake Norman, Sabi Asian Bistro, Sun Up Café, Jeffrey’s, Jack’s Corner Tap, Creative Catering and The Prickly Pear.
