Aug. 25. Safety Saturday will be held at Birkdale Village 10 am to noon Saturday, Sept. 17.

This is a chance for the entire family to interact with local first responders.

Participants can stroll along Birkdale Commons Parkway while listening to a live DJ and check out trucks, cars and boats parked along the street.

Participants include the Huntersville Police Department and Ninja Nation.
