Aug. 3. Cain Center for the Arts will accept submissions starting next week for Mud at the Mill.

The annual exhibit showcases functional, sculptural and experimental work using clay as the primary material.

—The show is open to all, from students to established artists.

—You may submit up to three  pieces but the center may limit the number for display.

—Application pickups and submission drop-offs are available at the Cornelius Arts Center, 19725 Oak St., from 10 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday or 6 pm to 8:30 pm Monday through Thursday.

–Submissions close Aug. 25.
