If you’ve always liked to sing and want to join a fun, exciting and welcoming group, then the North Mecklenburg Community Chorus is for you! The group is holding an open house at Community in Christ Lutheran Church 6:30-9 pm Monday, Aug. 24. Meet and mingle with new and returning singers, as well as the chorus director, Sandy Rogers. The church is at 7621 Norman Island Dr in Cornelius. Refreshments will be served. NMCC has two choral seasons each year: the fall season (September-December) with 11 rehearsals followed by the Christmas Concerts in December and the spring choral season ( January -May) with 17 rehearsals, followed by the NMCC Spring show.
