Jan. 3, 4 and 6
Open Track Nights on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays
6-8 pm. James Hoyt Wilhelm Park’s 1/4-mile walking track will be lighted on Mondays and Bailey Road Park’s regulation track will be lighted on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Both open to the public.
Jan. 4
Economic Panel Discussion via Zoom
11 am. Davidson College panel of experts will be present “How the Super Economy Could Lose its Power.”
Open to the public. Free. Register in advance.
Jan. 5 – 26
1-2 pm. The Wednesday Winter Walking Club gives you a chance to explore Davidson’s many greenways. Join Parks and Rec staff for a 45- 60-minute walk on a different greenway each Wednesday afternoon. $10 residents; $15 others.
Jan. 7-9
CLT Independence Soccer Showcase
U13 – U19 Boys in Huntersville.
Jan. 8
9-10 am. Saturdays. This high-energy class takes place at Bailey Road Recreation Center. $5/class or $40 for a 10-class pass. pay at the door.
Jan. 9
1-3 pm Sundays at JV Washam Recreation Center.
Through Jan. 21
This multi-disciplinary exhibition features work from husband and wife team Terry and Sue Ruhs of Waxhaw. Cornelius Arts Center. Gallery hours of operation: 10 am – 4 pm Monday – Friday.
