Open Track Nights on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays
6-8 pm. James Hoyt Wilhelm Park’s 1/4-mile walking track will be lighted on Mondays and Bailey Road Park’s regulation track will be lighted on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Both open to the public.

6:30 pm If you are a teen looking to meet new friends, engage in service projects, and beef up that college application, check out the Lake Norman Teen Council.

Unplugged+Live Concert Series
5-8 pm at Veterans Park, 201 Huntersville-Concord Rd., Huntersville. Register here. This touring concert series features live performances featuring local and touring talent, live DJs, & Food Trucks. Join us outdoors and socially-distanced.

Sip & Paint instructors provide materials and walk you through painting a one-of-a-kind masterpiece in a positive and judgment-free environment. Artists are welcome to bring a favorite beverage to get the creative juices flowing. Only beer and wine are permitted, and a $10 corkage fee applies. Registration required. Watch Me Dance – Chicago Stepping
7-8 pm at the Huntersville Arts & Cultural Center, 109 S. Old Statesville Rd. Purple Charlotte Steppers presents an interactive dance series that promotes social connectivity and health through movement. This series celebrates American style social dancing. Watch Me Dance highlights the American social dance styles birthed in African-American communities, including Chicago Stepping, Detroit Ballroom and Soul Line Dancing. This series is open to children 10 and older and adult children of all ages. This series features a new class customized for the visually impaired. 3rd Annual LKN Lighted Christmas Boat Parade
This boat parade will run from Blythe Landing to Ramsey Creek Park and end at the Duke Energy Explorium. Don’t forget to bring toys for Little Smiles, a non-profit group that brings toys to the children at the Levine Children’s Hospital. The event is planned to start around sunset and finish at approximately 7 pm.
9 am to noon. Holiday market.
9-10 am. Saturdays. This high-energy class takes place at Bailey Road Recreation Center. $5/class or $40 for a 10-class pass. pay at the door.

By appointment. Santa will be at Birkdale Village throughout the season and taking photos at the North Pole-inspired cottage.

5 to 9 pm. The Daniel Stowe Botanical Garden’s annual holiday event features a topiary display, rolling lights of the Piedmont Prairie and twinkling cherry trees. Advance tickets for Holidays at the Garden are being sold online. A limited number of tickets are being sold for various time slots to help control the crowd. CDC protocols will be followed. Food trucks will be available.
