Oct. 1. Enjoy the weekend weather because showers come next week. Today will be partly sunny, with a high near 79; Saturday, mostly sunny, high 83-84; and Sunday, pretty much the same. The showers start on Monday, according to the National Weather Service, with a 50 percent chance of precipitation after 10 am and temps still in the 80s.  Tuesday and Wednesday are the same, shower-wise, that is, but cooler.
