July 2. The Town of Huntersville is now taking applications for the newly created Sesquicentennial Celebration Planning Committee. 

This committee will assist the town in the planning and organizing of activities throughout 2023 to celebration the Town’s 150th Anniversary of Incorporation.

This committee will give residents an opportunity to give their input and offer suggestions on how the town should best celebrate this milestone. Committee members are appointed by the Huntersville Town Board. Applicants must be Huntersville residents or live in the ETJ.  

Meetings would typically take place monthly. 

All applications must be received by Aug. 1, 2021.
