June 30. The NC Dept. of Health & Human Services Thursday reported 208 new COVID-19 cases statewide for a 1,013,689 since the outbreak began last year. There have been 13,437 deaths statewide since February a year ago.

Hospitalizations are at 393 statewide, according to NCDHHS.

Mecklenburg County

In Mecklenburg County, there have been a total of 114,641 cases and 976 deaths attributable to COVID.

North Mecklenburg

Cornelius: 2,898 cumulative; 25 deaths total.

Davidson: 1,707 cumulative; 15 deaths total.

Huntersville: 6,107 cumulative; 54 deaths total.
