April 16. YogaSix, owned by longtime friends who met in college in Tehran, is opening next week in the Shops at Fresh Market.

Headquartered in Irvine, Ca., YogaSix is part of Xponential Fitness, a franchisor of boutique fitness brands.

Their story

Franchise owners Ali Alamir and Alireza Rashidi moved to the US from Iran and pursued careers in financial services.

And they got bored.

Finally, they decided to follow their goal of becoming business owners. Their passion for the fitness industry led Ali and Alireza to YogaSix.

“I care about health and bringing something to the table that will benefit people in Cornelius,” said Alireza.
