Camps designed for children with special needs

Town of Cornelius PARC DepartmentThe Cornelius PARC Department is offering summer camps for children and youth with special needs, starting next week. Camps are designed to create a positive recreational experience giving each individual an opportunity to develop their social skills, fine and gross motor skills, sensory experiences, creativity and fun. Campers will each have an individual volunteer to keep them engaged and having fun. The morning camp is for pre-school age children and the afternoon camp is for elementary and teens.
