High-end homes in and around Davidson are selling at a better clip than last year. There were 38 deals over $500,000 that closed during the first five months of the year, vs. only 23 last year, according to the MLS.
“The $500,000 to $1 million range continues to be very active, with most areas around the lake ahead of last year, with Davidson running well ahead,” said Reed Jackson, managing partner of Ivester-Jackson Distinctive Properties.
A house at 18340 Woodlands Trail closed at $685,000 in May, having been listed at $689,000 by Julia Lopez of Ivester-Jackson. Nancy Venally of Allen Tate represented the buyers. The Woodlands at Davidson house, with 3,551 share feet of space, was on the market about four months. The tax value is $633,000.
