The Charlotte Symphony Orchestra will “Celebrate America” with a special concert and fireworks showSaturday, June 27, at Bailey Road Park. Gates will open at 6 p.m. with children’s activities and concessions including beer, wine, food and ice cream. Music from Journey Church will start at 6:45 p.m., with the Charlotte Symphony following at 8:15. Fireworks will immediately follow the symphony. Parking is available in the park, as well as at Bailey Middle and Hough High Schools, with free shuttle service beginning at 6 p.m.  Coolers are welcome, but no glass containers or bottles, smoking, pets, tents or open flames. Beer and wine proceeds benefit the Lake Norman Wildlife Conservationists.
