These sessions, led by certified Tai Chi instructor Joe Higgins, offer a health and fitness exercise as well as a moving meditation. Gentle, flowing movements stretch and strengthen muscles, tendons and joints while placing the least amount of stress and tension on the body. Choose Intro to Tai Chi classes for beginners or Intermediate Tai Chi for anyone wanting to renew or expand their practice of Tai Chi.
Tai Chi classes will be held outdoors at Legion Park to allow for plenty of shade and social distancing. Spaces are limited. Classes start Sept. 24 for six weeks; $35 residents or $45 others.
