The town’s Memorial Day program will be hosted by the Cornelius American Legion Post 86 and will give special recognition to those who fought and fell in Vietnam. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the start of that conflict. American Legion Commander Mike Puckett of the Legion will be master of ceremonies at “Vietnam Remembered.” The memorial will begin at 10 in Rotary Plaza.
