Aug. 31. The Cornelius Police Department and Cornelius PARC Department will be hosting a Parade of Lights for National Night Out on Tuesday, October 6  from 5 pm – 8 pm. 

National Night Out is normally held on the first Tuesday in August when residents have an opportunity to meet Local Public Safety Officers and stand together to promote safety, awareness and neighborhood unity. 

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Town of Cornelius and thousands of other communities decided to postpone our National Night Out celebration to the later date of October 6. 

This year National Night Out will be different way. The Cornelius Police Department will bring a Parade of Lights to the neighborhoods in the community. 

To ensure the Parade of Lights comes through your neighborhood, please complete the Neighborhood Registration Form and submit it at your earliest convenience.
