Samuel Morris Swindell, III, 56, of Huntersville, NC passed away on Saturday, May 9. 2015 at the Huntersville Oaks.

He was born on February 28, 1959 in Dale County, AL to the late Samuel and Ellen Craun Swindell.

Survivors include siblings, Sandra Rice, Danny Swindell, Vallie Fisher, Mike Swindell and Shane Swindell; as well as step-daughter, Amber Johnson. His wife LaVonne Sims Swindell preceded him in death.

A service will be held in Alliance, NC at a later date.
