Relay For Life Cornelius/Huntersville, the annual fundraiser for the American Cancer Society at Bailey Road Park, starts at 6 pm on May 1. Teams of volunteers come together for a fun evening of fundraising activities, including games, chair massages and food. Anyone who knows someone who has been affected by cancer is encouraged to attend.

The Relay is not a race. Participants walk laps around the track to music. Teams of volunteers will pitch their tents at their fundraising booths and take turns walking until 6 am the next day.
