Jan. 31. Ruh-roh: Potts Street, the sneaky back way to places like Davidson-Cornelius Child Development Center, Ada Jenkins Center and Our Town Cinema, will be closed for five days starting Feb. 4 because of a water leak.
Charlotte Water identified a water leak on Potts just west of where it veers off to the left from North Main near The Spirited Cyclist and the YMCA
Charlotte Water has to relocate the water line, closing Potts Street to through traffic for about five days.
