The Cornelius Police Department and Cornelius-Lemley Fire and Rescue will meet on the ball field for a Guns & Hoses Charity Softball Game on Saturday, Sept. 29. The event will kickoff at 3 pm at Bailey Road Park.

Join Cornelius First Responders for a fun afternoon including food from Tenders, local brewery Eleven Lakes Brewing, and shaved ice from Icy Scott. Proceeds will go towards the purchase of 10-year maintenance free smoke detectors that the Fire Department will use in a community canvas in October for those in need.
