Here’s an opportunity to wrap up summer in fine style: The Cornelius PARC Dept. will screen “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” under the stars Saturday, Aug. 25, at Robbins Park. The event gets under way with a back-to-school bash at 6:30 pm with DJ Bob, balloon artists, face painting and corn hole. The movie will be shown at dusk around 8:15 pm. Kids are encouraged to dress up in their favorite Star Wars costume or t-shirt. Concessions available include hot dogs, popcorn and ice-cream. Bring lawn chairs and blankets to enjoy the show.
