July 21. The HMG Medical saga continues to unfold with six physicians aligning with Novant Health. All six family physicians as well as a family nurse practitioner left Novant Health in 2019 to join Holston Medical Group.

They will return Aug. 16, 2020 from the same location in Mooresville under the new name Novant Health LKN Family Medicine.

The board-certified family physicians transitioning to Novant Health along with their care team and support staff include: Clint Beaver, MD; Robert Bundy, MD; Stephanie Elkins, MD; Cody Homistek, DO; Bruce Mather, MD; Rebecca Panuski, MD and Ginger Ambron, FNP.

“We are delighted to welcome these exceptional providers back to the Novant Health family and look forward to delivering quality, patient-centered care together once again,” said Dr. Pam Oliver, executive vice president and president of Novant Health Physician Network.

She said HMG has been working with Novant to ensure a “smooth transition for team members and patients.” Over the course of the past four months, the departure of the former Novant team from HMG has been difficult. Much of the team landed at Atrium.
