Nov. 7. FeedNC is in need of 350 turkeys to be donated and distributed before Thanksgiving to feed the families they serve.
Donations are accept at 275 S. Broad St., Mooresville, Monday-Friday from 8 am-2 pm.
The last day to donate is Nov. 21.
FeedNC is also looking to complete the meal with donations of the following:
—Gravy
—Canned or boxed potatoes
—Stuffing
—Cranberry sauce
—Cream of mushroom soup
—Box of french fried 0nions
Community can drive
FeedNC has set a goal to collect at least 10,000 pounds of canned goods this month through Nov. 19.
“With your help, children, families, veterans, and individuals, will be able to receive the food they so desperately need over the cold winter months. Winter is a season when fresh produce is limited and canned goods are crucial, and this year is no exception,” according to a FeedNC news release.
“Whether you host a canned food drive in your neighborhood, office, or among friends and family, you donation will greatly impact the families and individuals who are hungry in the Lake Norman area,” it said.
