Two people are in custody at the Mecklenburg County Jail after a shooting yesterday at 9722 Psalms St., just off the sharp bend on Bailey Road. The victim, Caleb Keller, is currently at CMC Main and in serious condition with a gunshot wound to the neck.

Brendan McGlynn,20, and Randy Banks, 21, were arrested by Cornelius Police at McGlynn’s residence of 21209 Harken Drive in Blue Stone Harbor. Police are still looking for a third person, Jacobi McMillan; there are active arrest warrants for him now.

All three suspects are charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill as well as inflicting serious injury and felony conspiracy.

Police say this was not a random shooting as the victim and suspects knew each other.
