Timothy Scott Foughty, 51

Timothy Scott Foughty, 51, of Huntersville, NC passed away Monday, May 25, 2015. Tim was born June 27, 1963 in Sunland, CA to the late Gerald and Eva Marie Foughty. He was the President of Brooks Equipment in Charlotte and was very well respected in the fire protection industry. Tim was a member of the National Fire Protection Assoc., National Assoc. of Fire Equipment Distributors and the Fire Equipment Manufacturers Assoc. Tim was huge sports fan, including; the Panthers, the Raiders, USC football, NASCAR, Jeff Gordon and the Dodgers. He loved family outings and BBQ’s, along with Mexican food, and he had a strong appreciation for the Mexican culture. Tim was a mentor to many children. He also was an avid supporter of Make A Wish Foundation and St. Jude Children’s Hospital.

Tim leaves to cherish his memory, brother, Mark Foughty, and sons, Aidan Foughty, and Jonathan Jimenez.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 1:30 PM in the Chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home. The family will receive friends beginning at 12:00 until the time of service.
