Rotary Pancake Breakfast is Saturday

Karla Combs, Rotarian and Pancake Chef

See and be seen at the North Meck Rotary Pancake Breakfast Saturday at Bethel Presbyterian Church. Hundreds of people turn out every year for breakfast in the church fellowship hall from 7 am to noon.

There are always fun, fellowship, a silent auction, raffles and a chance to say hello to neighbors, elected officials and, of course, members of one of the oldest service clubs in North Mecklenburg. Among the volunteers staffing the event Saturday is Karla Combs, who attended the weekly meeting of North Meck Rotarians in a chef’s outfit.

It’s all for a good cause. Proceeds from the event will benefit Cornelius Parks & Recreation Improvement and other North Mecklenburg Projects.

Tickets are $10 and are available at the door, or at www.northmeckrotary.com.
