Nannie Ruth Bodenheimer Tesh, a faithful Christian, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and sister, went to be with her Lord Jesus on August 31, 2015.

Born September 6, 1933 in Davidson County, North Carolina, she was one of 11 children of Frank and Mae Bodenheimer. She grew up with four sisters and 6 brothers. She was a faithful member of Gateway Baptist Church for more than 20 years. Mrs. Tesh owned Tesh’s Grocery in Huntersville and made many friends while working there.

Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Tesh, Jr., son, Dale Eugene Tesh, four brothers and one sister.

Ruth is survived by her loving family; daughter, Lynn Mason of Huntersville; sons, Herbert Tesh, III (Pat), of Fort Mill, SC, Bill Tesh of Huntersville, Mark Tesh (Cindy) of Charlotte; grandchildren, Brent Mason(Meggan), Ellen Elder (Shawn), Nathan Tesh, (fiancé Laura), Jamie Tesh (Tracie), Herb Tesh, IV (Tracy), Denise Carnahan (Dan), Thomas Tesh (Nikole); 12 great-grandchildren; sisters, Faye Efird, Doris Loggins, Gerry Alcon; brothers, Jack Bodenheimer, Wayne Bodenheimer.

Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, September 2, 2015 in the chapel of Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home with Pastor Hugh Foy officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service and interment will follow at Sharon Memorial Park.
