Nancy Elliott Cross, 84, of Huntersville, NC passed away March 30, 2015. She was born on Dec. 22, 1930, daughter of the late Walter Brooks and Clara McDaniel Elliott.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Sammy Wilson Cross and daughter, Nancy Gayle Cross. She is survived by daughter, Jan Cross Hodges, and husband Robert of Clemmons, NC; grandchildren,  Robert Hodges Jr. of Cornelius, NC and Claire Gayle Hodges of Raleigh, NC; sister,  Beth Ranson of Spartanburg, SC; and her devoted caregivers, Yvonne Knox and Jeanette Smith.

Nancy was a lifelong active member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She will always be remembered as a wonderful loving wife, mother and grandmother.  Also, being a very special friend to many.

A celebration of Nancy’s life will be held 1:00 on April 2 at Trinity United Methodist Church 6230 Beatties Ford Rd. Charlotte, NC 28216 with Rev. Wade Ogle officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Family will receive friends after burial in Family Life Center.
