SEARLES

Kandace Thompson Searles, 48 of Huntersville passed away January 25, 2015 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on January 27, 1966 in Waterbury, CT to Elaine Slogeris Schreier and the late George Thompson.

In addition to her mother, survivors include her husband Mark Searles; daughters, Michelle Ferris and husband Jeremy, Leanne and Alyssa Searles, all of Huntersville; grandchild, Liam Ferris; god child Heather B. Thompson; brothers, Keith Thompson and wife Tina of Mooresville; Kraig Thompson of Mooresville and Kurt Thompson of Oakville, CT.

Memorials may be made in lieu of flowers to Hospice of Charlotte, 1420 E 7th St. Charlotte, NC 28204.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 29 in the chapel of James Funeral Home with Mark Moss officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
