Dorothy “Dot” Christine Stillwell Davis, 86, of Huntersville died January 25, 2015. She was born in Mecklenburg County on June 3, 1928 to the late Anthony and Eliza Stillwell. She was an avid gardener and loved spending time outdoors.

She is survived by her husband James Yates Davis; daughter, Deborah Swanson and husband Sonny of Huntersville; siblings, Emily Shaw, Jane Brittain, Betty Stillwell and Lillian Stillwell; grandchildren, Jennifer and Bryan; great-grandchildren Christopher and McKayla as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Per her request, a graveside service will be held at 2:00 Wednesday, January 28 at Gilead A.R.P. Church, 15303 Beatties Ford. Rd., Huntersville, NC 28078.
