David Lee Reaves, 69, of Mooresville, NC passed away peacefully on June 29, 2017. David was born August 17, 1947 in Charlotte to the late Manuel and Dorothy Seals Reaves. He was a life time member of Brothers of the 3rd Wheel (BTW), a member of the NRA and he loved surf fishing. He retired as a self employed painter and former owner of a outdoor storage facility. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, William Reaves.

David is survived by his loving wife, Susan Smith Reaves; son, Tony Lee Reaves and his wife Kimberly of Charlotte; granddaughters, Christian and Holley; great grandson, Cameron; brother, Robert Melton; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will at 2:00 pm on Monday, July 3, 2017 at Mt. Zion United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
