Aug. 25. The Cornelius Parks, Arts, Recreation and Culture (PARC) Department will hold a dedication and ribbon-cutting ceremony Friday, Sept. 2, for the new Cornelius Elementary School Neighborhood Park.

The new park, located at 21126 Catawba Ave., will include four lighted T-ball fields, two multipurpose fields, a basketball court, a walking trail, a restroom building and parking improvements.
