Chester “Skip” Wayne Beeler II, 66, of Cornelius, NC left us unexpectedly on June 11, 2016 doing what he loved most, boating.

Skip was born July 14, 1949 in Lexington, KY to Chester Wayne Beeler and Bettie Driver Beeler.  He was a Vietnam Veteran and served his country for four years in the U. S. Navy.  Skip had just retired after twenty years with SGL Carbon as a Project Manager, Performance Products.
Along with his parents, he was preceded by his son, Christopher Wayne Beeler, and his beloved Sheltie, Plaid.

Skip is survived by his loving family; wife Linda Payne Beeler; daughter Melissa Beeler Srikureja (Daniel) of CA and their children, Ayla Jordynn Srikureja and Evan Christopher Srikureja;  daughter, Kristin Hancock McBride (William) of Charlotte and their children, Dale Elizabeth McBride and Carson Edward McBride; daughter Terry Dale Hancock of Charlotte, brother Champ Beeler (Karen) of Knoxville, TN, his recently adopted Sheltie Charlie and his numerous friends that he considered family.

Special gratitude to the unknown angel RN and EMT of Troutman, NC who tirelessly gave their assistance.
Receiving of friends will began at 3:00pm on June 25, 2016 and a memorial service following at 4:00pm at Raymer-Kepner Funeral Home Chapel, 16901 Old Statesville Rd., Huntersville, NC 28078. A celebration of Skip’s life will be held on July 16, 2016 at 4:00pm at Morningstar Marina Clubhouse, Kings Point Drive, Cornelius, NC 28031.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to an animal rescue organization of your choice.  Friends may offer condolences to the family at http://www.raymerfh.com./
