Alanna Darlene Kowalski, 39

Saturday September 9th 2017 Alanna Darlene Kowalski, age 39 passed on into eternal life due to a tragic accident at her home in Huntersville N.C. Alanna’s spirit lives on through those she awaits in heaven; Husband Todd, Son AJ, Daughter Sienna, Parents John and Linda Petronis, Sister Aliesha Hunter, Brother Jason Petronis and their families, as well as her extended Kowalski family.  She is preceded in death by her Grandmother Freda “Nana” Urban, Walter “Pop-pop” Urban and Grandma Helen Burns. All of whom she loved dearly.

Born in Morgantown West “by God” Virginia November 10th, 1977 to parents John J. and Linda D. Petronis, Alanna graduated from Morgantown High School in 1996 followed by Ohio University in 2000 with Bachelor degrees in both Marketing and Finance.  Alanna moved to Charlotte, North Carolina in 2000 where she met her future husband Todd. They married shortly there after on April 13th 2002.

Alanna was a devoted mother, wife, sister, daughter and friend who dedicated her adult life to the betterment of her children through volunteer work at both Davidson Day School and Lake Norman Christian School. Her passion for life was unmatched and her commitment to family and friends was immeasurable.

A celebration of life is scheduled for this Saturday, September 16th 2017 at 10:30 am to be held at the Huntersville United Methodist Church 14005 Stumptown Rd. Huntersville, NC 28078. Off-site reception to follow.   All are welcome to attend and celebrate the life of Alanna D. Kowalski.
