Learn to Play Euchre

Riders In The Sky

Gardening Book Club

2-3 pm | Sept. 20. Do you enjoy gardening, plants, or just nature in general? Please join us for our next Cornelius Library Gardening Book Club meeting. In September, the book for discussion is  Becoming a Gardener: What Reading and Digging Taught Me About Living by Catie Marron. Registration required. Live Under The Oaks

6-8 pm | Sept. 20. Ryan Winters.  No coolers are allowed on property. A bar will be onsite in the designated area provided by Red Rocks for beverage needs. Bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit on. Seating space may be limited. The Plaza, Birkdale Village, Huntersville.

Gallery Crawl Downtown Mooresville

6-8 pm | Sept. 20. Begin at Mooresville Arts, where guests can sign up for the chance to win a gift basket filled with itemsfrom each location. From there guests can stroll at their own pace to Four Corners  Framing and Gallery, Juelerye Artisan Gallery & Gifts and EAST Style House & Gallery. All locations within a short walking distance of each other. Mooresville Arts will have savory snacks, wine and beer; Four Corners, wine, beer, and light snacks; EAST will offer a sampling from

Friday, Sept. 20- Sunday, Oct. 27

2024 Rural Hill Corn Maze

See website for schedule and tickets. Get lost in the twists and turns of the Rural Hill Corn Maze. Day Maze – Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 10 am-3 pm (must enter the maze by 3 pm, but you will be allowed to finish). Night Maze starts in October and tickets are sold Friday and Saturday nights starting at 5 pm. You must enter the maze by 8 pm. $13-$20. Historic Rural Hill, 4431 Neck Rd., Huntersville.

Saturday, Sept. 21

Lake Norman Empowerment Festival

5-9 pm | Sept. 21. Free, town-sponsored community event is an evening filled with gospel music from local and national professional artists, inspirational vendors, food and more. Smithville Park, 19710 S. Ferry St.

Oktoberfest event and market

Noon | Sept. 21. Shopping, polka band, biergarten, German cuisine from local food trucks. Lost Worlds Brewing, 19700 One Norman Blvd., Cornelius.

Ramble On Music Festival

Noon -10 pm | Sept. 21. Six main stage music performances, food and beverage vendors, an interactive art station, and an artists’ market for local arts and crafts makers. 405 S. Main St. Davidson.

Cain Center Singer-Songwriter Showcase: A Night of Originals & Influences 

7:30 pm | Sept. 21. Performers include Paul Bradley Atkinson, David Childers, Brit Drozda, Sam Brasko, and Taylor Winchester. Tickets: $25 general admission. Cain Center for the Arts, Catawba Ave.

Huntersville Food + Brews Street festival

11 am – 7 pm | Sept. 21. Pet-friendly outdoor event with food trucks, breweries, kids zone and live music. Veterans Park at Main & Maxwell, Huntersville.

Brews ’N Cruise

11 am – 5 pm | Sept. 21. Classic Car Show, backyard games, vendors, DJ, food trucks, raffles, cold beer, and so much more! Bring the whole family for a fun day raising money and awareness for Cool Kids Clubhouse. Tickets $25. Lake Norman Brewery, 1753 Triangle Cir., Denver.

Sunday, Sept. 22

Music at St. Alban’s

3 pm | Sept. 22. The North Carolina Baroque Orchestra opens Music at St. Albans’ 20th season, premiering a suite by series founder Henry Lebedinsky. Come at 2:20 pm for a 30-minute chat with Henry and NCBO conductor, Frances Blaker. $21.40 adults, $16.30 seniors, youth and students free, but must have ticket.
