Puzzle Palooza

5:30-8 pm | June 26.Teams of two will compete against other teams to see who can finish the same 500-piece jigsaw puzzle the fastest. There will be prizes for 1st and 2nd place. Participants will also take home their completed puzzle.  Must register. Space limited. Cain Center for the Arts, downtown Cornelius.

Live Under The Oaks

6-8 pm | June 28. Gump Fiction. No coolers are allowed on property. A bar will be onsite in the designated area provided by Red Rocks for beverage needs. Bring lawn chairs and blankets to sit on. Seating space may be limited. The Plaza, Birkdale Village, Huntersville.

Concert in the Park – Charlotte Symphony & Fireworks

7-10 pm | June 29. Free event. No pets or smoking. Bring a blanket or lawn chair. Fireworks display will follow the performance. Village Park,700 West C St., Kannapolis.

Entrepreneur Expo

11 am | June 29. Over 25 vendors from event planners, medical professionals, caterers, interior designers and more. The primary goal of the Entrepreneur Expo is to allow a few small business’ that have supported Be The Lite to present to the local community in a way that will bring awareness to what they do and showcase what they offer. Cain Center for the Arts.

Historic Tour of the Store

1-2:15 pm and 3-4 pm | June 2. Step back in time to 1779 and explore the Hugh Torance House and Store and grounds.  The historic Hugh Torance House and Store is the oldest-standing store in NC and one of Mecklenburg County’s few surviving 18th-century structures. The site is adjacent to Cedar Grove, the National Register brick 1831 Greek Revival home of James Torrance, son of Hugh and Isabella Torance. This is a free tour but donations are most welcome. Hugh Torance House and Store, 8231 Gilead Rd., Huntersville.
