National Night Out Aug. 7
Jetton Village will be full of vendors, music, prizes, and people on Aug. 7. The Cornelius Police and the PARC Department are hosting a National Night Out Celebration from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. The action will take place at the gazebo in the middle of Jetton Village on North Cove Road in Cornelius.
National Night Out is free, and is meant to offer residents an opportunity to meet local law enforcement officers and stand together to promote safety, awareness, and neighborhood unity. Free hot dogs will be served, and 40 local businesses will be on site to share their information and a variety of raffle prizes.
Adults and children alike will enjoy National Night Out. The event is sponsored by ElectriCities and will include ice cream from Alpha Freezz, the Coca-Cola Discovery Van, face painting, inflatable slide and live music from Downtown Summer.
